"Remember", a collection that whispers the beauty of shared connections.

My dearest reader,

I'm overjoyed to share a piece of my heart with you – the "Remember" Collection has officially arrived! Let's take a gentle stroll through the inspiration and details.

The space

From time to time I create space in my illustration work for clients and just run an illustration project just for myself. I love to draw, what’s in my heart, experiment with the illustration style, and also share the illustrations on posters, clothing, and accessories. The whole production process from the sketch to something that could be part of everyday life fascinates me. I do not have an extensive marketing budget or a popular shop with high traffic to attract online attention. But my small illustrated collections share with the small community around me the joy of creation and exploration.

Meet the Heartbeat

The motives of illustrations come from vulnerability, sensitivity, and a quiet strength that nurtures rather than dominates. They are standing tall yet never alone. I created 4 motives: intimacy, inscape, connection, and ability to see each other. When you look around it seems that these qualities are forgotten by people. So I call the collection Remember.

The intimacy - you cannot say if this illustration pictures women or men. Perceive the receptivity of both figures in which intimacy can happen. Do you experience intimacy just by yourself?

Inscape - when you look up this word on https://www.dictionary.com/ you get this definition: inscape [ in-skeyp ], the unique essence or inner nature of a person, place, thing, or event, especially depicted in poetry or a work of art. Now just recall the word escape [ ih-skeyp ], which means to slip or get away. Let's play a bit with that one, and instead of getting away, use the “IN” coming from inscape to get inside. Or better go inside. Are you familiar with this move?

Interconnected - can you perceive that everything is interrelated? Do you keep forgetting that?

I see you - what does it really mean to see the other? Are we able to have clear eyes to see?

A Symphony of Softness

I applied all 4 illustrations on posters, blankets, tees, sweats, and tote bags. Each piece has been curated with care, prioritizing soft hues, comforting textures, and an atmosphere of openness. Even thou all illustrations are just black line work, I played carefully with the colors of products to get a nice and soft combination. In the case of posters, I created a blue edition for some motives. I was even seduced by the combination of geometric shapes and the drawing in one case. Let me know how you feel about that.

Art Unveiled

What makes my heart dancing are the myriad forms art can take. Art isn't confined just to canvases; it's an expression. I love to discover all the different expressions that keep appearing in me. And I love to discover also all the expressions of the paint on the canvases. The “Remember” collection keeps growing. The illustrations from the collection are now out there in the world but canvases are still patiently waiting to be finished. I am walking around them every day. Sometimes spending with them just and hour or two so they can grow and open slowly and gently. And I can tell they love this pace.
