This piece portrays a peaceful scene from Oman where a woman is observing a crowd in a mosque. The receptivity and inner stillness are surrounded by the busy crowd in a place people visit to pray.

There is just one and only place where nonmuslim people are allowed to enter the mosque. The only mosque opened to tourists is in Muscat, the capital city of Oman.

Men and women pray separately here, following the strict rules they are raised in. But the painting tells a different story.

I ship the stretched painting in a customized wooden box, to receive the painting in perfect condition. A shipping quote will be provided when you decide to purchase a painting. I also offer the option to send the unstretched canvas rolled in a tube. The costs are lower, but please be conscious, that you have to organize the stretching of the canvas by yourself.
